Josh Staley
We are pleased to announce that we have something for fans of sophisticated Sleight of Hand with cards. Melbourne’s own Expert at the Card Table Josh Staley has agreed to lecture for us on all things Erdnase. You will also have the chance to see Josh’s skills live during the close-up performance session.
He is the winner of multiple awards and achievements, including the Australian Junior Champion of Close-up Magic. Josh has appeared on TV, performed across Australia and internationally, and is a Guinness World Record holder, helping lead a team of magicians to break the world record for ‘longest magic show’. His unique skills are constantly in demand, whether as a corporate performer, as an entertainer at private parties or at sell-out shows across the country
Mark Watson
Magician, Juggler, Comic Entertainer. Mark will be giving a talk on street magic as well as performing both close-up and on stage.
From the UK now living in Sydney. Mark Watson shifted careers from Investment Banker to full time entertainer. He’s got street performance chops but can also be found doing cabaret, theatre and corporate work.
Harry Milas
Harry Milas is a Sydney based magician, specialising in close-up performance. Harry will be sharing with us his experiences from his current show which is located on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
His signature close up show has received awards and five star reviews at multiple festivals. He has appeared on the Today Show, ABC and The Disney Channel, and has been lucky enough to study with some of the world’s leading thinkers in the magic community.
Phil Bevan
Phil is a talented Canberra based magician and entertainer. He will be performing in the close up session.
He performs across Australia and internationally at corporate events, private functions ,sales marketing,weddings etc. You supply the event and we will provide a show that will be remembered for years to come.
He has a large repetoire of material ranging from impressive sleight of hand through to amazing feats of mind magic that can stun even the most complacent audience into re evaluating their reality.
Joel Howlett
Joel Howlett is a performer and lecturer who gave his very first public performance at age 7. Catch Joel onstage in the evening gala show.
He performed on Hey, Hey It’s Saturday where he won the “Red Faces” segment! His showmanship has taken him around Australia and beyond! He was the Australian representative at Disney World Florida for the Millennium Dreamer’s Summit and Guest Artist at the Riviera Hotel Las Vegas at the SAM Convention!
Joel’s style and variety of material has made it possible for him to work as a full-time professional magician for the last nineteen years. He performs for a wide variety of ages at both private and corporate events.
Sean Taylor
Sean Taylor will be no stranger to attendees, he’s best known to those in NSW as the owner of Australia’s biggest magic shop. Sean will be demonstrating some of his brand new magic which he has developed since his recent lecture tour.
Sean is a performer, lecturer, creator of magic and mentalism and the author of five books for magicians including Selling the Show, a best selling book on the business of magic. Sean will present a new one hour seminar put together for this day titled Secret Magic Business. He will also have a stand in the dealer’s room with all of his latest creations.
Dale Trueman
Dale Trueman will be known to most of you as the most recent president of Ring 102 of the IBM. Dale will be sharing his experiences from his current show as well as demonstrating one of his strongest routines. Dale will also be performing in the evening show.
Dale has been performing in cabaret shows and theatre for a decade now with his signature Davo character. Lately he can be seen in shows around Surry Hills as Snowy McKenzie, a roguish character from a century ago who creates magic based around stories of his time.
Jack Sharp
Newly Elected President of Ring 102 and seasoned family entertainer. Jack will be giving a talk on family magic and demonstrating a great routine that can fit right into your show.
Peter Wood
Highly successful children’s entertainer Peter Wood will be sharing with us the secrets of a successful family show.
